About Total Brake Systems

Total Brake Systems, a family owned and operated business founded by Tracy Jackson, has a rich history rooted in a passion for independence and a commitment to specialized expertise. Driven by a desire to be his own boss, Tracy acquired Wright’s Mobile Truck Repair in 1988. As the business grew, Tracy expanded to a new facility in 1991 to offer 24-hour service and parts. By 1995, he had added a branch service repair shop. In 1997, he shifted focus, selling the service business to concentrate solely on parts.

In 2000, after careful consideration, Tracy made the decision to exit the parts business and establish a brake remanufacturing facility. Through the years, Total Brake Systems has grown due to increased demand for a quality product at a reasonable price. In 2008, Total Brake Systems relocated from Hoschton, GA to a larger facility in Gainesville, GA where it continues to remanufacture brake shoes today.
